​Since being involved in Catholic schools in Queensland, I have often heard our schools referred to as 'private schools'. I am not sure how or why Catholic Primary Schools are referred to in this way. What I do know is that Holy Spirit is a Catholic Parish School in Brisbane Catholic Education.

Forty years ago, the Holy Spirit Parish celebrated the realization of their vision for their children and their Parish Community. Their vision was one of having their children brought up in the Catholic Faith in a supportive Parish Community. Our challenge today is to continue to work together to nurture and support all our children and families in an educational setting underpinned by the charism of our Holy Spirit Community.​
