ABOUT US

Holy Spirit School has provided high quality Catholic Education in Pine Rivers since 1977.

We provide a comprehensive curriculum with a strong emphasis on the teaching of reading and maths. Specialist teachers deliver instruction in Music, Physical Education, Italian, Drama and Dance. Students can learn to play a variety of musical instruments as well as sing in our school Choir. Students can partiicpte in a wide variety of sports and interschool sporting opportunities.

Our school School Centre (Library) is well resourced and includes a large Computer Lab. We have computers in all classrooms and our senior students have access to laptaps.

Fruits of the Spirit - Award Recipients
Our school has a beautiful tradition of recognising students who are shining examples of this during the Year 7 Graduation ceremony. Each year we present a special award known as the Dominique Baxendell “Spirit of Friendship” Award. This annual award was first presented in 2001 in memory of Dominique, who herself was a Year 7 student here in 2000.Dominique was recognized at our school for the way in which she enacted the fruits of the Spirit and our school was a better place because of her. Each Monday we will be recognizing the children in our school who always display the 'Fruits of the Spirit' - Love, Peace, Goodness, Joy, Kindness, Faithfullness, Patience, Gentleness and Self-control. Students are nominated for this prestigious award.
